This viewbook was utilized as a brochure and mailed out as 2 versions: one static for bulk distribution that was printed on a sheet fed press and a variable data version that has a digitally printed cover that has personalization on all cover pages as well as having targeted testimonials on page 3 of the cover for each student based on their home state. This VDP version had a static sheet fed text. The color between both versions had to match exactly even though they were printed using different technologies. A 6 page center spread gatefold highlighted the one university/3 campus theme. Extensive programming, postal sorts, internal bindery and letter shop services were used to reach a prospective student making them feel at home. The variable version let's the recipient know that QU knows their name and has students from their home state who enjoy the QU educational experience. Both versions required critical color matching within each version and between the versions despite the fact that they were produced with different technologies. All versions were printed on FSC papers to keep the final product as green as possible.
