Coalition of Women-Owned Businesses Promote Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Printing
Pennsauken, NJ (October 2008)
Eco friendly printing company, CRW Graphics, has joined with four other companies to form WBElieve, a coalition of women-owned businesses that promote environmental and social responsibility.
Other members of WBElieve include a graphic designer, paper supplier, promotional expert and marketer. While the coalition has started with the marketing circle, it is laying the groundwork for expansion to cover all aspects of business, from financial services and valuations to architecture and construction.
"We've come together to promote the connection between diversity and sustainability," says Cynthia Wollman, VP of New Business Development at CRW Graphics. "Sustainability is about the environment and it's also about so much more. It's about how you can build a business that leverages its power to make real change in the world."
CRW Graphics is certified by the Women's Business Enterprise Council, the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. CRW is also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), an international organization that assures environmentally appropriate forest management. As an environmentally conscious member of the community, CRW Graphics adheres to all Federal, state and local EPA requirements. It routinely recycles all ink, plates and press chemistry as well as reusing clean hot air exhaust from its digital presses to help heat its plant in the winter months.
CRW Graphics is an award-winning commercial printer for many Fortune 500 companies, graphic designers, advertising agencies, colleges and universities, trade associations and others who demand impeccable quality and service. CRW Graphics is one of the largest commercial sheet-fed printers in the Delaware Valley, employing 100 people in its 47,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
